They know I won't muff the thing up TOO much View image: /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. I have pretty much free reign with the hardware I throw in the box here. ![]() Quote:Okay, I guess I overlooked the part about it being his work computer, but hey if he's gonna let him open it up and install a PCI card why not?I must admit it's a wierd situation but it is what it is. In the end you may find that your 2 best options are either just get a TV tuner card with an FM tuner or upgrade to win2k, which has USB support, and get one of the USB FM tuners. ![]() Anyway, if your absolutely commited to NT and cannot use a USB FM tuner, then all I can recommend is that you search ebay for some of these older ISA and serial port FM tuners and then try to find a windows driver for them. I believe there may have also been a few old FM tuners that connected to RS232 serial ports, but good luck finding them today and even if you do find them, finding drivers and software that will work under modern versions of windows may be a problem. for a PCI FM tuner, I'm afraid I don't know of any except of course for the TV tuner cards which you already mentioned. In fact, I'd recommend that if you purchase the D-link usb radio you just download radiator and the Gemtek drivers which can be found on the radiator site and don't worry about the included software as it kinda sucks. There's a freeware program called radiator that works with these. ![]() In fact, I believe they are actually the same hardware as you can use the Gemtek drivers with the D-link radio. The D-link usb FM radio tuner is probably the one Sonoma76 is thinking about and you can find it online in the $30-$40 range.
